The Newton Swap Shop (Newton Resource Recovery Center, 115 Rumford Ave., Auburndale) will open for the 2025 season on April 24 and will operate Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 7:30am-1:30pm (weather and staff availability permitting) through mid-October. All items are free to Newton residents–toys, games, kitchenware, and many other treasures. The inventory changes each week as more items are brought in.

Freecycle – Browse and search by community on their website or sign up to get a daily email of the latest offered items.
Buy Nothing – You need to register to gain access to items near your community and to get the emailed daily listing of new items.
