Tip of the Week: Recycle Scrap Metal at the Resource Recovery Center

Items that are more than 50% metal by weight can be brought to the Resource Recovery Center. That includes:

  • BBQ grills,
  • bikes,
  • exercise equipment,
  • yard equipment,
  • metal desks,
  • metal file cabinets,
  • metal shelves,
  • microwaves,
  • patio umbrella,
  • pots/pans,
  • toasters, and
  • wire hangers.

Request optional curbside pick-up for a $25 per item fee. Gas and oil must be drained from lawnmowers and/or snow blowers.
