With the leaves falling, the street catch basins (storm drains) are filling up with debris that carries all sorts of pollution that can end up in the Charles River. Clearing them takes a few seconds, but could save you or your neighbors from flooding.

If it is in front of your house, clear it. If not, let the nearest homeowner know. While the city will run street sweepers through all our streets one last time before the snow, they can’t get to all 350+ miles every day that leaves fall. That’s where we can become the #localHeroes with some #drainspotting.
