The “One Big Beautiful Bill Act,” signed into law by President Trump, eliminates popular Federal clean energy tax credits years earlier than planned, reducing financial support for American households adopting clean energy projects.

This is bad news, but the good news is there’s still time to use these tax credits before they expire. Plus, there are still state (MassSave) rebate programs to help you save money on your clean energy upgrades, which in many cases are worth more than the expiring Federal tax credits.  We made a handy chart below with all the specific expiration dates.
