The City of Newton is undertaking the creation of a Climate Action Plan (CAP), which will detail efforts the City can undertake to decrease greenhouse gas emissions by increasing energy efficiency and “greening” our power sources. Public input will be received throughout a lengthy community engagement process by means of an online questionnaire, workshops, and public hearings. The questionnaire for Community Ideas is available until November 16, 2018 at HERE.
Around 70 residents turned out to make the city’s Kick-off Discussion for Newton’s Climate Action Plan great! All the materials from the workshop and a photo gallery with snapshots from the event are available below.
