Saturday, January 20 from 2-3:30pm. In Person and Online.

Join the MA Environmental Justice (EJ) Legislative Table to discuss the elephant in the room — how do we build the renewable distributed electric grid we need fast, while not repeating the mistakes of the past? Learn more about their vision for infrastructure, energy democracy, and centering frontline communities in the process – as well as the current policy proposal from the EJ Table to greenlight good projects fast and nip bad projects in the bud.

This important event is hosted by the MA EJ Table and co-sponsored by Mothers Out Front Massachusetts and at least 35 other MA organizations. The event is connected to one of our priority bills: An Act relative to energy facilities siting improvement to address environmental justice, climate, and public health. It is a special opportunity to hear directly from environmental justice leaders on their energy siting vision and their policy proposal. The EJ Table has asked for support of allies for this event, so please plan to attend if you can!

This event is both in person and online. You can let them know how you will attend when you RSVP.
