You may have learned from Green Decade – as I have – that recycling is for clean materials and items like grease stained pizza boxes should go in the regular trash. But wait, there’s more. Recently I watched as a neighbor (also a Green Decade member) ripped the clean lid off of a pizza box. She then put the clean cardboard in the recycling and the dirty cardboard in the trash. Brilliant!
