The Recycling Depot Swap Shop is reopening on Friday, May 3! City residents can drop off usable items, and/or take home other items for free.
The Swap Shop will be open Fridays and Saturdays through October from 7:30am-1:30pm, at the Newton Resource Recovery Center (115 Rumford Ave., Auburndale). Details are available HERE.
All items must be approved by a volunteer before being dropped off. View our accepted items list and guidelines. Open to Newton residents only – proof of residency required upon request.
We do not accept:
- TVs or monitors
- Large or stuffed furniture
- Large appliances
- Hazardous materials
- Building materials
