Please bring reusable bags when you shop at CVS and Walgreens. In a survey conducted by Newton City Councilor Alison Leary, we learned that each of the Newton stores reports handing out over 3,000 paper bags per week to customers, which is around the amount that was handed out before the implementation of the plastic bag ordinance!
