SUMMARY:Newton Conservators Annual Dinner Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Join the Newton Conservators for their Annual Dinner. The keynote presentation will be by Nick Dorian\, Ph.D. on the “Secret Lives of Native Bees.” Dr. Dorian will introduce us to some of the fascinating wild bees of eastern North America and their varied lifestyles\, habitat needs\, and intricate relationships with native flowering plants and other insects. He will explain why they’re important for our environment. We’ll learn to notice\, appreciate\, and how to help these important pollinators in our community. \nThe evening will begin with a social gathering at 6pm\, dinner at 7pm\, followed by program and speakers.
