Environmental groups are asking citizens to vote NO on Question #1, which would eliminate indexing the gas tax to inflation, because we want to prevent our roads, bridges (the 2nd worst among 50 states), public transportation, bike-ways and sidewalks from falling into further disrepair. Our state needs to support the furthering of progress we’ve made towards a sustainable, healthy, and equitable transportation system. Please vote NO on Question 1 to provide the critical funding that is necessary to maintain and repair our transportation infrastructure.
