There is no trash collection delay on Tuesday, November 11 for Veterans Day. The City of Newton’s trash & recycling contractor now picks up on the usual schedule during the weeks of Veterans Day and on three other holiday weeks – Indigenous Peoples’ Day, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, and President’s Day.
Please set your trash, recycling, and yard waste out on your regular trash day the week of November 10. (If you miss the collection, you’ll need to wait until the following week for pickup.)
Going forward, Newton delays curbside services by one day for seven holidays: New Year’s Day, Patriot’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
