On Tuesday, May 24 at 7pm, the Climate Crisis Subcommittee of the Newton Democratic City Committee is hosting an online panel discussion to educate citizens about climate measures. Newton Climate Leaders will discuss their priorities for climate action and answer your questions about policies and how you can help make a difference.

Panelists include:

  • Ann Berwick – Newton’s Director of Sustainability, Former Chair of the Massachusetts Department of Utilities
  • Halina Brown – Professor of Environmental Science and Policy at Clark University and Chair of Newton’s Citizens Commission on Energy
  • Emily Norton – Executive Director of the Charles River Watershed Association and Newton City Councilor

The discussion will be moderated by Quinton Zondervan, Cambridge City Councilor and Climate Champion.
