Our new campaign, Clean Energy Starts at Home: Newton Neighbors Leading the Way, features local homeowners sharing their honest experiences, practical insights, and lessons learned to help others navigate their own clean energy journey.
Through a collection of short videos, Newton residents share what motivated them, what surprised them, and what they’d tell someone considering the same upgrades. This video series was created in partnership with the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC).
We’re launching the series with solar stories from homeowners with very different experiences. You’ll meet a resident who installed solar on a slate roof with the help of a specialized installer, another who has leased solar panels for nearly 15 years, and another whose system generates enough electricity to power both her home and electric vehicle.
Over the coming months, we’ll add stories about weatherization, heat pumps, geothermal systems, and electric vehicles, creating a growing library of real experiences from Newton neighbors.
