Thursday, July 17, 5:30-6:30pm. Online.

Join Community Action Works as panelists discuss the urgent issue of “forever chemicals” or PFAS. PFAS are linked to cancer and developmental problems. When they get into our drinking water, they threaten our health and cost millions to clean up. In Massachusetts, already 172 public water systems have exceeded the legal limit for PFAS.

Hear from advocates and professionals working to mitigate PFAS in Massachusetts communities as they share their personal experiences working on this issue. They will also share steps you can take to help protect yourself and your community, and you will have the opportunity to take a campaign action to support state legislation.
