On Saturday, April 14 from 1-3pm, Join the 2018 March for Science – Boston: Science Strikes Back and show your support for evidence-based policy when it comes to energy and climate. It will be a metaphorical march to the State House, starting with a rally in Christopher Columbus Park (Atlantic Ave. & Richmond St, Boston). A week later, we’ll call our legislators and tell them to support bills that reflect our latest understanding of the urgency of climate change and the need to transition to renewable energy. And we’ll finish our march at the State House, with a lobby day in May.

Last year, more than one million people participated in Marches for Science around the world, and some 50,000 Bostonians stood up for the scientific method, science education, the validity of data, equity and inclusion within the sciences, and the importance of evidence-based policy. As with any experiment, it’s repetition that validates results. Let’s turn out in huge numbers again to show our elected leaders that scientific evidence trumps insider interests when it comes to making policy!
