As a member of the Environmental League of Massachusetts (ELM), Green Newton would like to share ELM’s inaugural edition of their 2013-2014 legislative scorecard, which is intended to inform citizens about how our legislators voted on important environmental issues. The scorecard relies first on roll call votes on legislation that deals with environmental and energy issues. Newton residents can be proud of how our state legislators, Senator Cynthia Creem, as well as Representatives Ruth Balser and Kay Khan voted on key environmental issues.
