This year’s Newton/Needham Chamber of Commerce Green Solutions EXPO showcased solutions you can use to reduce your carbon footprint. Many fun activities kept visitors busy as they learned about protecting the environment. Making a big draw this year were alternative fuel vehicles on display, including an electric Smart Car, a owned Ford Fusions owned by the City of Newton, and a Tesla. A team of Olin College engineering students explained to visitors how electric vehicles operate and displayed an electric go cart they had built themselves.
