Sunday, February 25 from 1:15-4:15pm. Newton Free Library (330 Homer St, Newton).

Do you have a broken item in your home that you know you could fix with the right guidance? Fix-It Clinics empower folks to fix for themselves, and are totally free. Bring in a broken household item and a repair coach will help guide you through diagnosing and repair.

Please use the link provided below to reserve a timeslot based on the category of broken item. Categories will include small electronics repair, sewing and textiles, lamp repair and rewiring, and more.

Repair Coaches Needed – We still need a coach for jewelry repair (as of February 12). If you have a different fix-it skill you’d like to offer, please let us know through the signup. To volunteer as a repair coach or general helper, please fill out this survey.

Fix-It Clinic is a collaborative effort between the Newton Recycling Committee, the Newton DPW Sustainable Materials Management Division, and the Newton Free Library.
