Perhaps you should consider the possibility of joining Green Newton’s Board of Directors!
Green Newton is managed by an all-volunteer Board. From time to time, we have openings for new Directors . Directors are expected to take part in bimonthly Board meetings and help represent Green Newton at sponsored events and functions. And all Directors assume specific roles of responsibility for our educational programs, local environmental initiatives, advocacy, community outreach, and governance.
We welcome candidates of all ages, from all sectors of the community. As openings arise, usually once or twice a year, we match candidates to specific needs we have on the Board – and we then may contact you for additional discussion of Board responsibilities and expectations.
