The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) is recruiting participants through June 20, 2020 for it’s Whole-Home Air Source Heat Pump Pilot Program. The pilot is open to customers in new and existing homes served by natural gas who are interested in electrifying their home’s heating and cooling system. The MassCEC is offering technical assistance to pilot participants, best practices, and cost comparisons on the new generation of whole-home air-source heat pumps systems.

To be eligible for the pilot, the air-source heat pump must be capable of heating the entire home and be in use through-out the heating season. And in the case of new construction, homes cannot include any fossil fuel appliances for other uses such as hot water and cooking.
