DESCRIPTION:Currently\, school cafeterias and college dining use a lot of plastic–from trays to plates\, bowls\, cups\, straws and take-out containers. Most of these plastic items are used for a few minutes\, then tossed into overflowing trash cans. \nSchools pay large amounts of money to buy all these single-use plastics\, then pay again to get it all hauled away by diesel garbage trucks to be landfilled or incinerated.
