Marcia Cooper is to receive a Newton Conservators’ annual meeting award as an environmentalist of the year on May 24.

The award goes to Marcia for her enthusiasm and devotion to a sustainable world for future generations.  For thoughtfully inspiring Newton students to join and lead local environmental actions. For consistently building Green Newton as a widely trusted source for guidance to green the home and fight the climate crisis.

Newton Conservators’ annual meeting is at the Mount Ida Campus of UMass Amherst. It features Norman Smith, Raptor Specialist from Mass Audubon, talking about snowy and saw-whet owls. Please register by May 15th by going to Newton Conservators’ website
