Do you enjoy eating fresh, delicious, locally-grown produce? Then enroll now in Newton Community Farm’s late fall produce program. Each share will be comprised primarily of produce grown at Newton Community Farm, but with a few additions from Drumlin Farm (potatoes and winter squash) and Picadilly Farm (sweet potatoes). The precise composition of the share will be determined at harvest, and may vary over the three distributions, but will include typical fall vegetables. A share costs $150 which includes three, Tuesday pick-ups from 2 to 7 pm at the NCF’s barn at 303 Nahanton St in Newton. The pick-up dates are Nov. 3, Nov. 24, and Dec. 15. Go to www.newtoncommunityfarm.org for more info and to download an applicationĀ (due by October 31).
