On June 8, mayors from all over the United States are gathering in Boston for the U.S. Conference of Mayors. You are invited to join us when we gather for this event at 9:30am in front of the Boston Public Library in Copley Plaza, Boston and march to the Marriott Hotel, where the mayors will be holding their opening press conference.

Sign-up to volunteer to help with a phone bank for recruitment, join an art build, or act as a marshal for the action. Last year the U.S. Conference of Mayors released a resolution supporting the goal of 100% renewable energy, and they have also spoken out in support of the Paris Climate Agreement. We applaud the mayors for these statements, and now we are calling upon them to “Walk the Talk” of 100% renewables: rapidly implement Community Choice Energy and add more renewable energy to the grid, halt new fossil fuel infrastructure, commit to net zero buildings, and divest from fossil fuels.

Sponsored by 350Mass, BCAN, Mothers out Front, Sierra Club, Boston Clean Energy Coalition, We are Boston’s Waterfront, 350.org and more, but most importantly, you! Let’s demonstrate our people power on the morning of Friday, June 8 and hold mayors accountable.
