On Saturday, June 15 from 11am-noon, dancers and musicians will perform on three public parks surrounding Crystal Lake as everyone will face toward Crystal Lake. Horn players and a drummer will call and respond to each other from across the lake accompanied by a movement score by the dancers and community members. The performance will include a song about how we are One Lake One Community and how our differences disappear into the Lake. Everyone will be invited to gather for snacks on the picnic tables near the bathhouse after the event. The Crystal Lake Community Dance Project is a production the Newton Choreographers Collective as part of the Newton Festival of the Arts.
