On June 24 from 10am-1pm, take this leisurely ride along the Charles River and city streets to Inman Square in Cambridge. Then enjoy at the jazz brunch at Ryles (no cover charge, $10-12 for brunch). Note that this will be the final Jazz Brunch at Ryles ever, as Ryles is closing at the end of June! Meet in front of the Star Market (33 Austin Street, Newtonville), and we’ll leave promptly at 10am. Start at: Star Market (33 Austin Street, Newtonville)
Join us on ride to view the Independence Day fireworks in Boston on the Charles River. We’ll ride mostly along the river bike-path, and some streets in Newton and Allston. Meet in front of the Star Market on Austin St. in Newtonville, and we’ll leave at 7pm. Bring food, snacks, a blanket! Join us for a ride to Columbus Ave. in the South End for the annual Beantown Jazz Festival which runs from 12 noon to 6pm. A loop would take us more along the Charles River path one way, and more along streets of Boston, Allston, Brighton and Newton the other way. Meet in front of the Star Market on Austin St, in Newtonville, and we’ll leave promptly at 2pm. Take a ride to the start of the Honk Fest parade from Davis Square in Somerville to Harvard Square. You can bike in the parade and it’s always a very fun event! We’ll bike through Watertown and Cambridge and arrive in Davis Sq. in time for the start, then hang out in Harvard Sq. for a bit, and then head back to Newton via the Charles river path.
