Ann Berwick, the City of Newton Sustainability Director, has recently drawn attention to scamming efforts that are ongoing with offers of 100% Green Energy that are not related to the Newton Power Choice. These programs have also not been vetted by the City, in contrast to Newton Power Choice. They often have hefty cancellation fees. Please be careful with solicitations like these and call 866-968-8065 to clarify your enrollment in the Power Choice Program that Green Newton has worked so hard to help create. Director Berwick has been putting out social media messages warning people of such misleading offers.
