On November 2 on WBUR’s On Point radio program, hosts Daniel Ackerman and Meghna Chakrabarti led a discussion with a number experts on “How to Rid the World of Plastic.” The production of plastic has doubled in the past 20 years worldwide. Plastic waste in the environment has grown, too. The show discusses, among other strategies, how likely a new global treaty is to help with this growing crisis.
