Eliot Church, United Church of Christ (UCC) (474 Center Street, Newton Corner) will be holding a sustainable transportation demonstration event on Sunday, October 23 from 11am-12:30pm. Members and friends will be bringing an array of electric vehicles, plug-ins, and hybrids for viewing and discussions with owners. Liora Silkes, City of Newton Energy Coach, will be available to discuss recently enacted Commonwealth and Federal rebates and incentives. There will also be a church member describing the very successful City of Newton NewMo ride program.
All are welcome–bikers, walkers and skateboarders, all. Come on over!
