MANY THANKS from Green Newton to everyone that donated sneakers to our NewtonSERVES project on April 29. 150 pairs of sneakers will be sorted and taken to Nike’s outlet in Wrentham for recycling, as well as another organization that will distribute them to individuals in need. Very special thanks to Margaret Ford for organizing GN’s Reuse and Recycling Project and to her great crew of volunteers, Melissa Hanenberger, Shufei Tian and Benj Borhegyi.
